| 3 | Crown reduce Elm tree by removing up to 3.0 metres of linear branch length from the vertical height and up to 2.0 metres of linear branch length from the lateral spread. All pruning cuts will be made in accordance with BS 3998:2010 (Recommendations for Tree Work). Branches will be pruned back cleanly to a suitable lateral growth point that is at least one-third the diameter of the branch being removed, leaving a balanced framework of healthy, leaf-bearing material. REASON: To safeguard the health of the tree. |
