1 The proposed front pitched roof dormer extension by reason of its scale and design would have an unacceptable detrimental impact on the character and appearance of the area. The proposed dormer extension due to its height will be overbearing and domineering to the detriment of the street scene. The proposed development is therefore contrary to part j of Policy SD4 of the Redcar and Cleveland Local Plan.
