| 1 | Standard Condition 1 – No advertisement is to be displayed without the permission of the owner of the site or any other person with an interest in the site entitled to grant permission Standard Condition 2 – No advertisement shall be sited or displayed so as to – (a) endanger persons using any highway, railway, waterway, dock, harbour or aerodrome (civil or military); (b) obscure, or hinder the ready interpretation of, any traffic sign, railway signal or aid to navigation by water or air; or (c) hinder the operation of any device used for the purpose of security or surveillance or for measuring the speed of any vehicle. Standard Condition 3 – Any advertisement displayed, and any site used for the display of advertisements, shall be maintained in a condition that does not impair the visual amenity of the site. Standard Condition 4 – Any structure or hoarding erected or used principally for the purpose of displaying advertisements shall be maintained in a condition that does not endanger the public. Standard Condition 5 – Where an advertisement is required under these Regulations to be removed, the site shall be left in a condition that does not endanger the public or impair visual amenity. REASON: Required to be imposed pursuant to Schedule 2 of the Town and Country Planning (Control of Advertisements) Regulations 2007 |
| 2 | The consent hereby granted for display of the proposed advertisement(s) shall expire five years from the date of this notice. REASON: As is required by Part 3 Paragraph 16(2)(c) of the Town & Country Planning (Control of Advertisements) Regulations 2007. |

| 4 | The approved lighting shall be positioned, angled and adequately shrouded to prevent any glare, reflection or distraction to users of the highway. It shall be positioned at least 2.4m from the edge of carriageway. The lighting should at no time flash or appear to be intermittent. Reason: In the interests of highway safety having regard for Local Plan Policy and sections 9 and 12 of the NPPF. |
| 5 | The advertisements hereby approved shall not exceed a level and intensity of illumination of more than 300 cd/sqm during the hours of darkness. The installation shall be carried out in accordance with the approved details and maintained. Reason: To protect the visual and residential amenities of the area and to reduce light pollution having regard for Local Plan Policy and section 12 of the NPPF. |
| 6 | The advertisement hereby approved shall include static images only. The interval between successive images shall be 1.0 seconds or less and the complete screen shall change. There shall be no visual effects between successive images and the display shall include a mechanism to freeze the screen in the event of a malfunction. Each image shall be displayed for at least 10 seconds. Message sequencing or interactive messages shall not be used. Reason: To protect the visual and residential amenities of the area and to reduce light pollution having regard for Local Plan Policy and section 12 of the NPPF. |
| 7 | Statement of Co-operative Working: The Local Planning Authority considers that the application as originally submitted did not meet with the local policies and guidance. Following discussions with the applicant / agent a satisfactory scheme has been negotiated. |
