1 Due to the location, design, position and scale of the single storey rear extension it is considered that the alterations proposed would create conditions prejudicial to the residential amenity of the adjoining occupier, 15 Hollywalk Avenue, Normanby. The development would therefore be contrary to the aims of Policy SD4 (b) of the Redcar and Cleveland Local Plan and the Residential Extensions and Alterations SPD (para 2.12).
