1 It is considered that the proposed garage extension including pitched roof and dormer extensions, by reason of its size and bulk would have an overbearing impact on the character and appearance of the area. It would be an incongruous addition to the property. The proposed development is therefore contrary to part j of Policy SD4 of the Redcar and Cleveland Local Plan.
