1 The design, miscellaneous colours, size of lettering and the central logo, combined with the internal illumination and two projecting, internally illuminated rotating barbers’ poles, will introduce a feature that is incongruous with, and detrimental to, the character and amenity of the Conservation Area and the adjacent attached listed building, contrary to Policies E5, HE1 and HE2 of the adopted Local Plan.
2 Statement of Co-operative Working: The Local Planning Authority considers that the application as submitted did not meet with the local policies and guidance. The applicant has been advised of these concerns.
