1 The proposed change of use and siting of two shepherd huts by reason of the intensification of activity on site would have an unacceptable detrimental impact on the character of the area. The proposed development is therefore contrary to part j of Policy SD4 of the Redcar and Cleveland Local Plan.
2 The proposed change of use and siting of two shepherd huts by reason of the potential disturbance from the intensification of activity on site would have an unacceptable detrimental impact on neighbouring residential amenity. In addition, the siting of a shepherd hut close to the boundary with No. 1 Fountains Close will lead to an unacceptable loss of privacy. The proposed development is therefore contrary to part b of Policy SD4 and Policy ED11 of the Redcar and Cleveland Local Plan.
