| 1 | Following removal of the raised embankment in the southwest area of the site, a further assessment shall be carried out to verify that the remaining soil is not classed as contaminated. A verification report shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authoirty. Reason: To ensure the site is suitable for residential development |
| 2 | All residential properties denoted within the report G15283 (south western site) shall incorporate gas protection measures into the construction of the buildings. This must be in line with BRE 414-protective measures for housing on gascontaminated land. Following completion of the development a verification report must be prepared confirming that the gas protection measures has been properly installed which is subject to the approval in writing of the Local Planning Authority. Reason : To ensure that risks from land contamination to the future users of the land and neighbouring land are minimised, together with those to controlled waters, property and ecological systems, and to ensure that the development can be carried out safely without unacceptable risks to workers, neighbours and other offsite receptors. |
