# Condition Details
1 The proposed conversion of the existing hipped roof to a gable end, due to its proportions and form, would not respect the character of the site and its surroundings and would not improve the character and quality of the surrounding area. The development would therefore be contrary to the aims of parts j and k of policy SD4 of the Redcar and Cleveland Local Plan (2018) and paragraph 2.19 of the Residential Extensions and Alterations Supplementary Planning Document (2013).
2 Statement of Co-operative Working: The Local Planning Authority considers that the application as submitted did not meet with the local policies and guidance. The applicant / agent has been advised of the concerns however no amendments have been submitted.
