| 4 | Prior to the commencement of any works the applicant should contact the Councils Engineering Team on 01287 612536 to obtain the necessary consents. The proposal involves works in the adopted highway (as detailed below) and requires entering into a legal agreement with Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council. The proposal extends the width of the outer wall by 200mm into the footway - as this is adopted highway the applicant will need to stop up this area of adopted highway under The Town & Country Planning Act. The footway will need to be excavated in order to extend the foundations - this work needs to be undertaken by a contractor accredited to work on Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council adopted highway. The applicant will also be required to extend and reconstruct the footway to its current width on the new offset alignment. A legal agreement is required to ensure the new works are constructed to Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council's specification to ensure adoption by the Council. |
| 5 | Statement of Co-operative Working: The Local Planning Authority considers that the application as originally submitted is a satisfactory scheme and therefore no negotiations have been necessary. |
