1 The tree subject of this application, is protected by Tree Preservation Order L/TPO/10 and is protected for it's amenity value. The Council has considered the information submitted in the application however, the Council's arborist has reported that the Sycamore tree is a mature healthy specimen (80+ years) and provides an important focal point and amenity within Bow Street and is part of the historic green environment of Guisborough. As the Sycamore is in reasonable condition with no signs of decay or disease and given the above factors consent for the removal of the Sycamore is refused.
