1 The Environmental Protection Team has advised that a desk study including a review of the BGS 2007 GIS data Layer for Radon indicates that the development site is in a class 2 Radon affected area. This means that there is the potential for between 1 and 3% of existing and future properties within the area to be above the action level of 200Bqm-3. For further information the applicant is advised to contact Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council Environmental Protection Team
