1 The proposed extension, by reason of the orientation, positioning and scale, would have an overbearing impact creating conditions prejudicial to the residential amenity of the adjoining occupier to the south. The development would therefore be contrary to the aims of policies DP2 and DP3 of the Redcar and Cleveland Local Development Framework and the Residential Extensions and Alterations Supplementary Planning Document.
2 Statement of Co-operative Working: The Local Planning Authority considers that the application as submitted did not meet with the local policies and guidance. The applicant / agent has been advised of the concerns however no amendments have been submitted and the agent has requested that the application be determined as submitted.
