# Condition Details
1 The proposed development would result in the loss of public open space within the residential area. The loss would have an adverse impact on the character and appearance of the area and would also prove detrimental to the amenity existing residents may reasonably expect to enjoy. The application is therefore contrary to policies CS20, DP2, DP3 and DP13 of the Redcar and Cleveland Local Development Framework.
2 Officers considered that the application as submitted was acceptable and no negotiations were required. Members determined that the application was not acceptable and therefore voted to refuse the application.
