# Condition Details
1 The introduction of solar panels on the building would detract from the special character and appearance of the listed building contrary to the Town and Country (Listed Building and Conservation Areas) Act, the National Planning Policy Framework and policies CS25 and DP10 of the Local Development Framework. In addition the rear elevation has prominent views when entering Guisborough Conservation Area from the south via New Road. The introduction of solar panels in this location would detract from the special character and appearance of the conservation area contrary to the Town and Country (Listed Building and Conservation Areas) Act, the National Planning Policy Framework and policies CS25 and DP9 of the Local Development Framework.
2 Statement of Co-operative Working: The Local Planning Authority considers that the application as submitted did not meet with the local policies and guidance. The applicant / agent has been advised of the concerns however no amendments have been submitted.
