# Condition Details
1 The proposal would result in the loss of a historic opening in terms of the window and the introduction of non-traditional materials in the form of UPVC. The replacement door would distrupt the rhythem and symmetry seen on the rear of the building and would detract from the historic nature of the building. The proposal would therefore detract from the special chracter of the listed building. The proposal is therefore contrary to the National Planning Policy Framework and policies CS25 and DP10 of the Local Development Framework.
2 The Local Planning Authority considers that the application as submitted did not meet with the local policies and guidance. The applicant / agent has been advised of the concerns and have requested that the application be determined as submitted.
3 NOTE: The following development plan policies were relevant to this decision:- Local Development Framework Policy CS20, CS25, DP2, DP3, DP9, DP10 and Residential Extensions and Alterations Supplementary Planning Document.
