| 5 | REASON FOR DECISION: The proposed development due to both the use and amount and type of the works proposed preserve the character and appearance of the Conservation Area. The proposal complies with Policies CS25 and DP9 of the Redcar and Cleveland Local Development Framework. |
| 6 | REASON FOR DECISION: The development due to the proposed use as flats and the nature of the external works proposed and the location will not cause significant harm to the amenities of local residents or adversely affect the character and appearance of the area. The application does not raise any issues in respect of crime prevention or highway safety. The proposal accords with the aims of Policies CS1, CS2, CS18, CS20, DP2, DP3 and DP9 of the Redcar and Cleveland Local Development Framework. |
| 7 | The Local Planning Authority consider that the application as originally submitted was acceptable subject to a correction of the site location plans. Those plans have been submitted and the proposal remains acceptable without further negotiation. |
