# Condition Details
1 The development shall not be begun later than the expiration of THREE YEARS from the date of this permission. REASON: Required to be imposed pursuant to section 18 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990.
2 The development hereby permitted shall be carried out in accordance with the following approved plans: Plan No 11056-002 A Rev A received by the Local Planning Authority on 12/12/12 Plan No 11056-003 A Rev A received by the Local Planning Authority on 12/12/12 REASON: To accord with the terms of the planning application.
3 Details of the external paint finish to be used in the carrying out of this permission shall be submitted to, and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority, prior to the commencement of development and the development shall not be carried out except in accordance with the approved details. REASON: To ensure the use of satisfactory materials.
4 REASON FOR DECISION: Due to the amount and type of development proposed it is considered that the proposed development will not compromise the integrity of this Listed Building. The proposal therefore complies with Policies CS25 and DP10 of the Redcar and Cleveland Local Development Framework.
5 The Local Planning Authority consider that the application as originally submitted did not meet with the local policies and guidance. Following discussions with the applicant a satisfactory scheme has been negotiated involving a reduction in the size of the watch tower resulting in a more balanced form of development.
6 NOTE: The following development plan policies were relevant to this decision:- Local Development Framework Policy CS1, CS20, CS25, DP1, DP2, DP3 and DP10.
