| 5 | The use of the premises as a restaurant is considered acceptable for the location within the designated centre and will not adversely affect the vitality and viability of the commercial centre. Given the location and range of uses in the area the proposal will not cause detrimental harm to neighbour amenity. The application raises no issues in terms of crime prevention or highways safety and does not adversely impact on the character and appearance of the street scene or wider Conservation Area. The proposal accords with policies CS18, CS20, CS25, DP2, DP3 and DP9 of the Local Development Framework. |
