Standard Condition 3 – Any advertisement displayed, and any site used for the display of advertisements, shall be maintained in a condition that does not impair the visual amenity of the site. Standard Condition 4 – Any structure or hoarding erected or used principally for the purpose of displaying advertisements shall be maintained in a condition that does not endanger the public. Standard Condition 5 – Where an advertisement is required under these Regulations to be removed, the site shall be left in a condition that does not endanger the public or impair visual amenity. REASON: Required to be imposed pursuant to Schedule 2 of the Town and Country Planning (Control of Advertisements) Regulations 2007 |
| 4 | REASON FOR DECISION: The proposed advertisements raise no issues in terms of crime prevention. The design and levels of illumination are considered acceptable and the application raises no issues in terms of highways safety. The application is not considered likely to prove detrimental to neighbour amenity. The additional totem is not considered likely to create a cluttered appearance and does not create harm to the character and appearance of the area. The application accords with policies CS20, DP2, DP3 and DP12 of the Local Development Framework (2007). |
