REASON: To safeguard the character and appearance of the Saltburn Conservation Area. |
| 3 | REASON FOR DECISION: The existing buildings are considered to have a benign affect on the Conservation Area. Proposals for the redevelopment for the site have been submitted to the Local Planning Authority and these plans are considered to be an appropriate form of development on the site. The loss of the buildings are considered acceptable and the demolition does not have an adverse impact on the Conservation Area. The demolition accords with Policy DP9 of the Local Development Framework. |
