REASON: The development approved is not one which the Local Planning Authority would normally consider appropriate given its relationship to the host building, a grade II listed building but the council have given consideration to the animal welfare services provided by the applicant and consider that, on balance, a restricted planning permission for the development approved is appropriate. |
| 5 | REASON FOR DECISION: It is considered that the proposed development will not cause significant harm to the amenities of local residents or adversely affect the character and appearance of the area. The application does not unacceptably affect the setting of the Listed Building. The application does not raise any issues in respect of crime prevention or highway safety. The proposal accords with the Council's adopted Development Plan and Supplementary Planning Guidance. |
