As this is a householder application, in the event of an appeal against a refusal of planning permission, which is to be dealt with on the basis of written representations, any representations made about this application will be sent to the Secretary of State, and there will be no further opportunity to comment at appeal stage.
The application is available for inspection online and at the offices of Planning Services, Development Management, Seafield House, Kirkleatham Street, Redcar, TS10 1SP. The offices are open from 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 4.30pm on Friday.

All planting comprised in the approved details shall be carried out in the first planting season following the removal of the Poplar tree. Should the replacement tree within a period of ten years from the completion of the development die, are removed, or become seriously damaged or diseased shall be replaced in the next planting season with others of similar size and species. REASON: To ensure the satisfactory implementation of the approved scheme in the interests of the visual amenities of the locality. |
| 2 | REASON FOR DECISION: It is considered that the removal of Condition No. 1 of L1591/82 will not cause significant harm to the amenities of local residents or adversely affect the character and appearance of the area. The proposal accords with the Council's adopted Development Plan and Supplementary Planning Guidance. |
| 3 | The applicant is advised that prior to the removal of the Poplar tree an inspection should be made to ensure there are no roosting or nesting birds within the tree that may be impacted upon as a result of the proposed works. |
