# Condition Details
1 The application proposes the erection of a single wind turbine generator with a height of 61m to the hub and 89m to the rotor tip. The application site is located outside the approved limits to development on open land presently used for agricultural purposes. The application proposes the introduction of a large scale turbine structure into a countryside setting which, it is considered, by reason of its height and appearance would visually intrusive and detrimental to the appearance of the local landscape. In addition, the construction of the turbine will result a significant number of HGV movements which would be detrimental to the amity of nearby residential properties during the construction period. The development proposed is considered to be contrary to policy in the Redcar and Cleveland Local Development Framework 2007 as set out above.
