| 3 | (3) The existing fireplace is to be carefully dismantled in accordance with a detailed method statement to be submitted to and approved in writing with the Local Planning Authority before commencement of the approved works. The statement shall provide for the investigation of the possible survival of an historic inglenook or other traditional fireplace. A further statement setting out how the historic fabric so discovered will be preserved shall be submitted to and approved in writing with the local planning authority before the approved works to the building progress further. REASON: To safeguard and enhance the special character of the listed building. |
| 4 | INFORMATIVE NOTE: The applicant is reminded that it is the responsibility of anybody carrying out building work to ensure mud, debris or deleterious material is not deposited from the site onto the public highway and, if it is, it shall be cleared by that person. |
| 5 | REASON FOR DECISION: The proposed development will preserve the special character and setting of this Listed Building. The proposal therefore complies with Policies CS25 and DP10 of the Council’s Development Plan. |
