| 3 | (3) The protective shutter to the new shop front hereby approved shall be solid from the ground to the top of the stallriser; from the top of the stallriser to the top of the shop front it shall be a grill, to be perforated in design and appearance. REASON: To ensure it is of a satisfactory design and appearance in relation to this Listed Building and the Saltburn Conservation area. |
| 4 | (4) All timber to the new shop front (including the fascia enclosing the security shutter) and the security shutter itself, shall be painted the same colour and have the same finish as the painted timber comprising the traditional arched timber window in the south facing elevation. REASON: To ensure all details are of a satisfactory design and appearance in relation to this Listed Building and the Saltburn Conservation area. |
| 5 | REASON FOR DECISION: The proposed development will preserve the special character and setting of this Listed Building. The proposal therefore complies with Policies CS25 and DP10 of the Council’s Development Plan. |
