| 5 | Informatives The applicant may wish to consider making an application for Prior Consent under the Control of Pollution Act 1974. At no point should the adopted highway be blocked up with out the prior consent of the Councils Highways Maintenance section. The applicant is reminded that it is the responsibility of anybody carrying out building work to ensure mud, debris or deleterious material is not deposited from the site onto the public highway and, if it is, it shall be cleared by that person. |
| 6 | REASON FOR DECISION: The proposed development forming part of the Redcar Flood Alleviation Scheme would not compromise the character or appearance of the area, residential amenity, highway safety or crime prevention. Subject to the mitigation agreed with Natural England the ecological impacts would be not be significant. It is considered therefore that the development complies with local and national planning policy. |
