1 The proposal to demolish the building that is located within Saltburn Conservation Area has not been supported by documentation that demonstrates it is in a condition where re-use and/or conversion is not possible or where there are approved detailed plans for the redevelopment of the site. The proposal is therefore contrary to the aims of Policy DP9 of the Redcar and Cleveland Local Development Framework.
