# Condition Details
1 REASON FOR DECISION: 1. The proposed change of use is not considered to be acceptable in this location by virtue of the fact that it would have an adverse affect on the character of the area and the amenity of nearby residents. The proposal is therefore contrary to policies CS18, DP2 and DP3 of the Council's adopted Development Plan. 2. The use of the premises as a hot food takeaway is contrary to the Council's Interim Policy on Hot Food Takeaways which seeks to limit the number of hot food uses in commercial centres in the interest of maintaining the vitality and viability of these centres.
