It is considered that the cumulative effect of many elements of the proposed development (scale, density, design, height, mass, appearance and limited amenity space provided) would result in a development that was significantly detrimental to the character and appearance of the area as a whole and as such would be contrary to the aims and objectives of the Council’s Adopted Development Plan. 2. It is considered that the cumulative effect of many elements of the proposed development (inadequate parking/turning and access width provision) would result in a development that was significantly detrimental to highways safety and as such would be contrary to the aims and objectives of the Council’s Adopted Development Plan. 3. It is considered that by reason of noise and disturbance caused by traffic accessing the proposed development immediately adjacent to 1a Gypsy Lane, the development would prove significantly detrimental to neighbour amenity and as such would be contrary to the aims and objectives of the Council’s Adopted Development Plan. |
