# Condition Details
1 The proposed free standing illuminated display units by reason of their siting, design and illumination would represent a duly obtrusive feature that would add to the visual clutter of the area. The proposed display units would be detrimental to the visual amenity of the application site and the surrounding streetscene, which has a high proportion of residential units. The display units would be contrary to the aims of policies DP3 and DP12 of the Redcar & Cleveland Local Development Plan 2007.
