As this is a householder application, in the event of an appeal against a refusal of planning permission, which is to be dealt with on the basis of written representations, any representations made about this application will be sent to the Secretary of State, and there will be no further opportunity to comment at appeal stage.

| 2 | (2) Notwithstanding the provisions of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order, 1995 the garage shall not be used for any purpose (including a purpose ordinarily incidental to the enjoyment of the dwellinghouse) which would preclude its use for the accommodation of a private motor vehicle. REASON: In the opinion of the Local Planning Authority the retention of the garage for the parking of a private vehicle is important in safeguarding the appearance of the locality and highway safety. |
