4 REASON FOR DECISION: The proposed signage is considered appropriate within the application site. It would not have an adverse affect on the Conservation Area or amenity of the area. The proposal does not raise any issues in terms of highway safety or crime prevention. Therefore the proposal accords with the Council’s adopted Development Plan.
5 NOTE: The following Development Plan Policies were relevant to this decision: Local Development Framework Policies DP2, DP3, DP9 and CS20 and Supplementary Planning Guidance Appendices 2 and 4 of the Redcar and Cleveland Local Plan 1999.
