1 REASONS FOR DECISION: 1) The proposed development due to the proposed design, size and siting would result in development that would be detrimental to the character and appearance of this part of Lazenby and is therefore contrary to the aims of Policies CS3, CS20, DP2 and DP3 of the Redcar and Cleveland Local Development Framework 2007. 2) The proposed development due to its size, design and location would be likely to result in loss of privacy by way of overlooking of properties to the north to the detriment of the living conditions the occupiers may reasonable expect to enjoy. The proposal is therefore contrary to the aims of Policies DP2 and DP3 of the Redcar and Cleveland Local Development Framework 2007. 3) The proposed development due to its design and layout would result in inadequate access and parking provision that would be likely to result in parking on the adjacent highway to the detriment of highway safety. The proposal is therefore contrary to the aims of Policy DP2 of the Redcar and Cleveland Local Development Framework 2007.
