The flue is only granted listed building consent (and is exempt from planning permission) in the position as shown on the revised submitted plans, should this be altered then you should inform the local planning authority before construction so that further assessment can be made as to consents required. 2) The property is situated within a smoke control area and therefore unless the appliance has been classed as exempt only an authorised (smokeless fuel) is permitted. Please contact the Environmental Protection Section on 01287-61-2422 for further advice. |
| 4 | REASON FOR DECISION: It is considered that the proposed development will not cause significant harm to the amenities of local residents or adversely affect the character and appearance of the area. The application does not raise any issues in respect of crime prevention or highway safety. The proposal accords with the Council's Local Plan.The proposed development will preserve the special character and setting of this Listed Building. The proposal therefore complies with Policy ENV10 of the Council's Local Plan. |
