The application is available for inspection online and at the offices of Planning Services, Development Management, Seafield House, Kirkleatham Street, Redcar, TS10 1SP. The offices are open from 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 4.30pm on Friday.

| 2 | REASON FOR DECISION: The respondents' concerns regarding the integrity of the construction are a building control matter and will be dealt with under that legislation and procedures. The extension is set away from the boundary and as such it is not considered there will be such an adverse affect on amenity so as to warrant refusal of planning permission. It is considered that the proposed development will not cause significant harm to the amenities of local residents or adversely affect the character and appearance of the area. The application does not raise any issues in respect of crime prevention or highway safety. The proposal accords with the Council's Local Plan. |
