| 6 | REASON FOR DECISION: The proposed development is considered to be appropriate within this existing commercial centre. It would not have an adverse impact on the character and amenity of the area. The application does not raise any issues in respect of crime prevention or adversely affect highway safety. The proposal accords with the Council's adopted Local Plan. |
| 7 | INFORMATIVE: The plans accompanying this application did not show the proposed internal alterations to the premises. It is understood that Dukedom Ltd intend to sub-let the restaurant and that the successful company will be responsible for organising and fitting out the kitchen and restaurant. It is recommended that Dukedom contact the Food Safety Team on 01287 612404 and the Environmental Protection Section on 01287 612422 to determine the relevant legislative requirements as part of the development process. |
