As this is a householder application, in the event of an appeal against a refusal of planning permission, which is to be dealt with on the basis of written representations, any representations made about this application will be sent to the Secretary of State, and there will be no further opportunity to comment at appeal stage.

The points raised regarding loss of view and devaluation of property are not material planning considerations. It is considered that the proposed development will not cause significant harm to the amenities of local residents or adversely affect the character and appearance of the area. The application does not raise any issues in respect of crime prevention or highway safety. The proposal accords with the Council's Local Plan. |
