| 5 | REASON FOR DECISION: The premises is within the town centre and has consent for use as a licensed premises. The main issue is the impact of any increase in the hours on the living conditions of nearby residential properties. In the light of a previous appeal decision and the change in the licensing regime, it was considered that a temporary permission, which included the Christmas period, would be an appropriate balance between the commercial aspirations of the applicants and the protection of the amenities of local residents. It would allow the situation to be monitored and reviewed in the light of experience. |
