| 1 | (1) The door and any subsequent replacements, shall be glazed with obscure (frosted) glass, and shall be retained and maintained as such unless agreed otherwise in writing with the Local Planning Authority. REASON: In the interests of the amenity of the adjoining residents. |
| 2 | NOTE: Redcar and Cleveland Local Plan Policies GEN1, GEN2, ENV4 and ENV18 were relevant to this decision. |
| 3 | REASON FOR DECISION: The door and wing window replaces a non-traditional window in the rear elevation of the building. The impact of this alteration is benign in terms of the effect on the character of the conservation area. With respect to the amenity of nearby residents, the door and window would be obscure glazed. It is considered that the usage of the door would be limited and the impact on residential amenity would not be significant enough to warrant refusal of consent. |
If you are unable to find the decision notice that relates to this planning application, please email planning_admin@redcar-cleveland.gov.uk and we will provide this document to you.
