| 3 | REASON FOR DECISION: Permission is sought for telecommunications development on land at a haulage yard located within an existing industrial area. The site is required by Vodafone to ensure the adequacy of third generation coverage. Initially, a mast share at RI Construction, Tilbury Road, South Bank was proposed. That site is no longer available. The current proposal is capable of accommodating another operator. Bearing in mind the industrial location and the existence of other tall structures it is considered that this site represents a good solution to achieving the desired coverage in this area. |
