1 (1) The proposed mast due to its height and location would have a detrimental impact on the visual amenity of the area. The proposal is therefore contrary to the aims of Policies GEN1 and SER5 of the Redcar and Cleveland Local Plan 1999.
2 (2) The proposed mast is in close proximity to industrial and residential properties and could have a detrimental impact on the amenity and safety of the occupiers of these properties.
