REASON: To ensure that the plant/machinery/building is adequately sound-proofed in the interests of the occupiers of adjacent residential property. |
| 4 | (4) This permission shall enure for the benefit of Gemma Ryan and for no other person. REASON: The permission is only acceptable having regard to the personal circumstances of the applicant. |

| 7 | REASON FOR DECISION: Permission is sought to change the use of first floor offices at 18 High Street, Ormesby to a dance studio. In the vicinity of the premises are both commercial and residential uses. The premises would be in use between 4pm to 8pm Monday to Fridays, 10am to 4pm Saturdays and Sundays. A parking area and drop off point is proposed at the rear of these premises would be available to the dance studio. The premises are above shops and front a busy road. It is considered that subject to conditions regarding acoustic mats and hours of use the proposed use would not be incompatible with this location. Parking would be available at the rear of the premises and the availability of car parking to the north of the High Street is noted. The arrangements for parking at these premises have been found acceptable by the Highway Authority. Highway safety would not be likely to be compromised by the proposed use. The proposal would not compromise the crime prevention aims of the Local Plan. Means of escape in the case of fire would be a matter for Building Regulations. Notices adjacent to the Woodside parking area would alert visitors that it is for residents only. |
