| 11 | REASON FOR DECISION: The two blocks of flats have been reorientated to minimise the impact and potential for overlooking properties on Turner Street and Henry Street. The main living room windows face inwards onto the parking area with bedroom windows facing the rear of Queen Street properties. Adequate on-site parking can be provided within the scheme and vehicular access will be restricted to the rear of Turner Street. The scheme comprises the redevelopment of a brownfield site within the limits to development and is in accordance with local and national policy. It represents an acceptable re-use of a vacant commercial site. |
