# Condition Details
1 (1) The development shall not be begun later than the expiration of FIVE YEARS from the date of this permission. REASON: Required to be imposed pursuant to Section 91 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
2 NOTE: Redcar and Cleveland Local Plan Policies GEN1, GEN2, ENV4 and ENV10 were relevant to this decision.
3 REASON FOR DECISION: The railings are of an appropriate design in relation to the character of the Listed Building and the conservation area. The property originally had railings of a similar design but which were removed many years ago. The new railings will serve to preserve or enhance the character and appearance of the Listed Building and the conservation area in which it is set. Erection of the railings will help address problems of anti-social behaviour by youths gathering in the garden area and will help reduce opportunities for crime.
