| 2 | REASON FOR DECISION: The proposed extension has been designed to reflect the features of the existing single storey extension and would appear as subordinate to the main part of the building. It would not be detrimental to either the character or appearance of the area. Given its distance from nearby residential property, no harm to local residential amenity is envisaged. The proposal would not compromise either the crime prevention aims of the Local Plan or highway safety. It therefore meets the aims of the Redcar and Cleveland Local Plan 1999. |
