# Condition Details
1 (1) The development shall not be begun later than the expiration of FIVE YEARS from the date of this permission. REASON: Required to be imposed pursuant to Section 91 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
2 (2) This permission relates only to the amended plan(s) received by the Local Planning Authority on 23 June 2004. REASON: For the avoidance of doubt.
3 NOTE: Redcar and Cleveland Local Plan Policies GEN1 and GEN2 were relevant to this decision.
4 REASON FOR DECISION: Permission is sought to erect a pouch box at the corner of Dorset Road and Rectory Lane, a well established residential area. For this application Policies GEN1 and GEN2 provide the basis for determination of this application. These policies seek to achieve development that respects the character of the area and does not compromise highway safety or crime prevention aims of the Local Plan. The proposal does not give concern with regard to highway safety and would successfully utilise the parking bays on Dorset Road which would help to alleviate any traffic concerns relating to Rectory Lane, or Hutton Lane, both of which are busy roads are busy roads at various times of the day. On the other hand Technical Services advise that they would not wish to see the box located adjacent to the bus lay-by. This application does not give cause for concern with regard to the crime prevention aims of the Local Plan.
