1 (1) The development shall not be begun later than the expiration of FIVE YEARS from the date of this permission. REASON: Required to be imposed pursuant to Section 91 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
2 (2) The occupation of the residential accommodation hereby approved shall be restricted to a person employed or last employed, including a dependant of such a person, at the ground floor of the premises. REASON: In the interests of residential amenity.
3 NOTE: Redcar and Cleveland Local Plan Policies GEN1, GEN2, ENV3, SH2 and SH5 were relevant to this decision.
4 REASON FOR DECISION: The proposed development is considered to be appropriate within this existing commercial centre. It would not have an adverse impact on the character and amenity of the area. The application does not raise any issues in respect of crime prevention or adversely affect highway safety. The proposal accords with the Council's adopted Local Plan.
